When I started doing maternity photography, I just never imagined that it would be so much fun for the (future) moms and me and and that it would give so much joy!

Every pregnancy session turns out to be a “girls fun date”! :)

It’s always very nice when the future mommy brings a friend to the session (in case the future daddy is not coming, which is most common). Although daddy is always more then welcome of course :) It’s a pity if they don't find it interesting, but mostly they simply don't have the time for it (working).

It still amazes me how similar the flow of those sessions go almost every time! At the beginning, the ladies are a bit insecure and don't know what to do in front of the camera.. How to stand, what to do with their arms and head.. But after just a few minutes of peaceful guidance and explanation, everything suddenly becomes clear and they start feeling comfortable doing what I ask them to.

That is a short process and every lady always gets there very nicely! At the end they're all completely relaxed, have loads of fun and truly enjoy their session, their baby and themselves being pregnant. Their beauty then comes out undeniable and unstoppable, and joined with a beautiful nature setting it is my biggest pleasure to catch all that beauty with my camera! That’s pure joy for me.

I see somebody transforming in front of me, becoming herself, showing me their beauty, their beautiful life that is growing inside! It is mesmerising! I love my job! And I mostly love showing people how amazing, beautiful and precious they are!
